“School Play”
Test
Grade C

Part I.Drama critics write reviews of plays to give their opinion of a performance. In one paragraph, write a review of Robert's play for his school newspaper. Use your imagination to fill in the details, but include details from the story, too.

This play was good. It made want to keep reading because you wanted to see how the play ended.
I would rate this play on a 1-10 scale at a eight or nine. I like this play. The girl in this play threatened to shove the boys face in the dirt if he screws up.
What you wrote sounds like it is written about a book, not a play that you watched. It also does not make any specific references to the characters the play or the children who played their parts. This would be something a reviewer would include.

The theme in this story is you should keep trying our in this case keep practicing whatever your doing.

The story shows the theme by having a girl and a boy (which girl or boy?) saying lines in the play while being mean to each other. The girl threatens the boy if he doesn't do something right. Your last sentence does not give any further explanation to your theme.
